Yarn “Pekhorka” “Children’s novelty”, 100% high-volume acrylic, 200m / 50gr, color: 01 – white, 02 – black, 12 – yolk, 88 – red poppy, 284 – orange, 490 – boxwood. 

Yarn “ZIKZAK” “VisantiA” 100% polyester, 100m / 100gr, color 0001 – white. 

Black beads: 2 pcs diameter 10 mm 

Filler: synthetic winterizer, holofiber, etc. 

A gun with hot melt glue for gluing toy parts (you can sew on, but it was more convenient for me).

Apply a small layer of Moment Crystal glue to one side of the cardboard circle, distribute it over the entire surface surface and glue to the bottom of the cylinder. 

Sew (I glued) a buckle on the red strip of the cylinder in the form of a square (photo 11). 

Divide the cylinder into three parts visually (these will be the places where the stitches will pass). * From the bottom of the cylinder to the beginning of the knitting of the fields, randomly make a few stitches with a needle with boxwood-colored yarn and pull off * (photo 12). This will give the appearance of a crumpled cylinder (Photo 13). Repeat from * to * 2 more times. Fill slightly with padding polyester.

Fasten knitting, cut and hide the thread.

Assembling a snowman 

Sew (glue) beady eyes, a carrot nose, a cylinder to the head. Sew boots and head (glue) to the body.

Now you can either dec all around and sew arm to body or give it posable limbs by inserting wire through the arms (recommended if you want your snowman to hold a Christmas banner).

MATERIALS  

BANNER 

Red polka dotted ribbon | White sewing thread | Sewing needle  

To make the banner, I cut five triangles out of a red polka dotted ribbon and did a quick running stitch across all five pieces. Make sure you leave a long tail on both ends of the banner. Now thread one of the tails on a sewing needle and lightly tack it to one of the hands. Repeat these steps on the other hand to secure banner.  

MATERIALS

A tuna can | Light worsted weight yarn in blue | 2.5 mm crochet hook | Silver ribbon | Yarn needle  

The base is made from an empty tuna can turned upside down and covered with a cozy.  

Step 1: Open the tuna can and make a tuna sandwich.  

Step 2: Wash and dry the can.  

Step 3: Reward yourself for a job well done with the sandwich you made (refer to step 1).  

Step 4: Take out your yarn and hook and start crocheting a cozy for your stand.

Since you and I may not be buying the same brand of tuna, can size may vary.  

Hence, I will tell you how to customize it according to your requirements. First, work a flat circle, using multiples of eight (and joining the last st of the round to the first st with a slip stitch) till you get the desired circumference. For example:  

Round 1: 8 dc in a magic ring.  

Round 2: 2 dc in each st around. (16)  

Round 3: (Dc 1, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (24)  

Round 4: (Dc 2, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (32)  

Round 5: (Dc 3, 2 dc in the next st) X 8. (40)  

…and so on till it covers the flat surface of the can.  

Then dc a round in BLO without increasing.  

After this, continue working in dc until you get the desired height. If you want the cozy to cover the rim, which is now going to be the base of your stand, work another round of dc in BLO.  

Cut out a circle from a piece of cardboard, insert wire though it as shown in the illustration and tape wire to cardboard. Now tape cardboard to the can and carefully slip the crocheted cozy over it, making sure not to disturb the wires. Push the upright wires through snowman’s legs.  

Thread a length of silver ribbon through a large eyed, *run it in and out through a dc, skip three dc**. Repeat * to ** till you reach the beginning. Tie a bow.  

Now sit back and admire your snowman.

Santa

Required materials and tools:

– Alize Bahar, Cotton Gold or Catania for body and dress. Alize Decofur for Santa’s beard.

– – Hook 2, 2-5 or 3 (or a needle of the correct size for the yarn being used). It will be 25-26 cm from the point of the cap to the foot, but the final size will depend on the size of the hook and the yarn you are working with.

– – Decor buttons (one for Santa’s ornament, sewn to Santa’s belt, a New Year’s hat or a snowman’s hat of any shape)

– – Red or white wire (you can buy it in art shops, hobby shops!). Replace this filling on Santa’s hand so she can bend. The same solution for a snowman

– – 10mm Snowman Nose Pompom at Creative Hobby Shop

– – a needle for sweating bags

Additional Information::

All parts of the body begin with the amigurumi ring technique – except for Santa’s feet – and then continue to work in a spiral, without closing the rows.

– Use markers to trace the rows.

– Fill in each piece continuously while crocheting.

– After the body parts have been made, cut the yarn, leaving a 20 cm end of the thread that can be used for sewing.

When sewing eyes, always put them on the head after sewing the nose relative to it, but when using safety eyes, we will sew the nose after attaching the eyes.

We cut the yarn, and after the body and head are sewn, it is worth to sew on the ears before putting on the hat. Sew the ears below the center line of the head so that they do not interfere with the exact fit of the cap.

After the nose is sewn on, you can tint it as you wish (using a blush, perhaps using a textile paint).

Beard:

Prepare a beard when the body and head are sewn, ears are sewn and a hat is sewn to the head.

We start behind the left ear, bypassing it with an eyelash thread on the front.

Take the yarn and start pulling the thread over the head behind the left ear (fasten), go down 6-7 rows to the bottom of the head and fasten the stitches. Going under the nose, he follows a horizontal line, then symmetrically to the starting line.

To enrich the beard, we do this step several times.
